Our Tunes In Action

Really awesome people using our music in really awesome ways...

The Sleep With Me Podcast

I love Scooter. I love the intentionally rambly adult bed time stories that Scooter tells. I’ve loved every minute of the last 8 years I’ve spent working with Scoots. I’m incredibly grateful.

Years ago I wrote a theme song for The Sleep With Me Podcast. That eventually led to me helping Scooter with the editing his show, creating custom ‘sleepy’ music every other week for his Patrons, and even running a sleep music fundraiser in 2017.

I could go on, but if you are having trouble sleeping and like a bit of goofy in your life – check out this show. Keep an ear out for our music.

The Show About Science

This guy, Nate, started podcasting (with a little help from his parents) when he was only 5 years old! I was suuuuper proud when I heard that some of our tunes made it into The Show About Science.

When Nate started his second podcast, The Show About Politics and emailed to ask if he could hire me to compose something original for it – I was more than honoured. Everything this kid does is brilliant, I love it, and I’m so glad to be a part of it.

Caregiver: Signs of Stroke TV Spot

This was a TV spot that I was hired to score by Perfect Day Canada. They had created a rough animatic with timed cues that I created audio with – after which they finished off the beautiful animation.

I love it when I am given the opportunity to make original music for projects like this, and I’m really happy with how this one turned out! In fact, the project ended up winning an ICE Award!

The Oracle Of Dusk

A very cool audio drama by Miscellany Media (a looong time and very good friend of the music supply!)

It may take you a moment to get situated when you start listening, but there’s some very cool writing & production going on here!

The Story Behind the Lemon

Chris Enns of Lemon Productions not only shares my first name, but we’re about as kindred as kindred spirits can get. He’s a fellow Canadian, doing really great podcast work while lovingly raising his family and I’m a big fan of his. You’ll hear one of our tunes as the main theme of his behind the scenes podcast.

The Bush League Podcast

I worked directly with Nathan on scoring a few episodes of his phenomenal sports stories podcast, “Bush League”. The episode “St. Rivalry” is a great story about two bitter rival teams coming together and it features some pretty fancy mandolin tunes I created!

Gorbauuch

This one is a bit of a pet project of mine – in collaboration with writer & voice talent Dan Loach. Dan lives over in Scotland and him and I share a love of fantasy & folk tales. We created this labour of love together, he voiced it & I created original music.

Aishi Online

Another awesome audio drama by MJ. So much awesome use of our tunes!

“After returning to the social internet for podcasting, MJ decides to tell her own story. That of a digital friend she lost to time: Aishi. Whoever she was…”

The Q Files

Shane, one of the creators of this podcast was one of our first patrons when we made the shift to Patreon. Really appreciate the support and can’t say enough how great a job The Q Files is doing of mixing our music in with their weird, mysterious, intriguing narratives.
